Albert was born June 5, 1917, in Detroit to Paul and Amelia (Dauer) Moll. He graduated from Chadsey High School in 1935 where he developed a hobby of writing poetry and dramas. He took post-graduate classes including accounting and went to work for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as an office clerk, and retired over 45 years later as a traveling Senior Supervisor of Accounts. He was active in the Walther League (won first place in the Michigan Talent Quest for his portraits created on the typewriter and dramatic monologues). Also was an active member of "Mummers" drama group on radio station WJR; created entertainment for the Lutheran U.S.O.; member of the Lutheran Center Board; Treasurer, Financial Secretary, and/or Elder at churches in Detroit and in Owosso. Was a volunteer in charge of Youth Activities Division (salvage and rationing) during the war. Wrote, produced, directed or acted in numerous plays or musicals in both the Detroit area and Owosso. Wrote hundreds of poems during his lifetime. Albert was often called upon to prepare entertainment and/or be emcee for various affairs. He moved to Owosso in 1988, became an active member of the Owosso Community Players in 1989 and served not only as a trustee, but as main Treasurer and then as Rebuild Treasurer until June 2015.

After his first wife Lorraine died, he met and married Barbara Ebe of Owosso in 1974. Their move to Owosso in 1988 was into the home where Barb had been born. He served as Treasurer, member of the Church Council, on other boards and as Financial Secretary and Thrivent Advocate at St. Philip Lutheran Church. Albert was a loyal attendant to Memorial Healthcare Re-hab for many years including over 2100 sessions. He was honored with a Stewardship Award for LCMS Michigan District in 2007 and recognized with a special tribute plaque from the State of Michigan Legislature in 2009.

Al was a city boy most of his life but learned to adapt and enjoyed creating a new look in their wooded area with his two-bladed axe, machete, loppers and chain saw.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; granddaughter, Angela Larkin; great-granddaughter, Reina Larkin; brother, John; sisters, Amelia Boynton and Patricia Anderson as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lorraine; children, Douglas, Scottie and Melody; brothers, Paul, Carl, Robert, James and Richard; and by sisters, Helen Moser and Ruth Roberts.
