Charles Bukovick Sr.

Age 95 of Owosso passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, July 21, 2017 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Walworth officiating. Burial will follow at West Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Charles was born September 18, 1921 in Owosso, the son of George and Anna (Hioska) Bukovick.

Charles proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II.

He married Arlene Swan in Angola, Indiana on September 10, 1951.

Charles worked as an electrician for the Ann Arbor Railroad.

Charles is survived by his wife Arlene; children Chuck (Diane) Bukovick and Brian Bukovick; grandchildren Nikki, Jennifer, Nathan, Justin (Christina), Amanda and Aaron; great-grandchildren Alexis and Brayden; siblings Helen (Don) Stanton, Bill (Jane) Bukovick and Bob (Onely) Bukovick; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

He was predeceased by his son Eddie; his granddaughter Jodi; his parents; and his brothers George and John

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
