Edward was born January 9, 1951 in Durand, the son of Raymond John and Maxine June (Reed) Hagan.

He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was an Altar Server as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree. Ed was always willing to help out with whatever was needed. He had a quiet confidence about himself and was loyal to those he loved. His church and The Lord was very important to him. He had a good sense of humor and had an unforgettable laugh. In his younger years he was an avid deer hunter and did straight strip racing with his classic road runner. Most of all Ed loved spending time with his family.

Ed married Patricia Smith at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Owosso in 1979.

He was employed through the years as a automotive/hydraulic engineer.

Ed is survived by his wife of nearly 38 years Patricia; brother Lyle (June) Hagan; sister-in-laws Rande Hagan, Sandra (Mike) Libbey, Jeanne (Don) Sudau, Maureen Roberts, Janet (Rod) Tew; several nieces and nephews; close friends Kelly, Diane, Jason and Kyle Kuechman; special friend Jim Grahoski; his dearly beloved dog Tanner and many other loving family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister Mary Lou Hagan, brother Charles Hagan and brother-in-law Richard M. Smith.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Knights of Columbus.
