Obituary for Eladine Mae Struck

Age 89 of Oakley passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oakley with Pastor David Mielke officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Road Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church that day from 10:00am until the service.

Eladine was born on May 26, 1928 to Lloyd R. and Nellie (Munger) Nixon in Midland. She married Leo Charles Struck on March 29, 1947 at Zion Lutheran Parsonage; they celebrated 70 years of marriage this year.

Eladine spent her life as a loving homemaker. She enjoyed baking and making her own wine. She also loved canning just about everything. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Eladine is survived by her husband, Leo Struck; her children, Dave (Jean) Struck, Jackie (Jerry) Adelberg, Bev Wirick, Charles (Dawn) Struck, and Terry Struck; her 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Jim Deveraux; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Nixon, Delores Nixon, Margaret Struck, and Pam Struck.

She is predeceased by her parents; her siblings, Lloyd Nixon, Jr., Evelyn Devereaux, William Nixon, and Joann Podoba; her son-in-law, Ron Wirick; her grandson, Raymond Adelberg; her brothers-in-law, Larry Struck and Floyd Struck; and her sister-in-law, Marie Somers.
