Obituary for Kenneth LaVerne Froehlich

Kenneth LaVerne Froehlich  

Age 84 of Owosso passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at The Meadows of Owosso.  

Funeral services will be held 2pm Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes, Owosso Chapel with Pastor Montie Landis of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. Burial will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2pm to 8pm.  

Ken was born August 1, 1933 in Gibbon, Nebraska, the son of Albert and Opal (Ferguson) Froehlich.  

He graduated from Adelphian Academy in Holly, Michigan and proudly served in the United States Army 48th Engineering Field Maintenance Company.  

Ken was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist, Teamsters Local 580, Eagles Club and American Legion, Kiwanis.  

He married Nancy Heroux at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Owosso on March 4, 1961.  

Ken was employed through the years at Indian Trails and Leaseway-Penske.  

He is survived by his wife; daughters Judy Froehlich (John DeLisio) and Jennifer Froehlich (Michael Mudget); grandchildren Caleb Loux, Sarah Loux and Joseph Loux; nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.  

Ken was predeceased by his parents, siblings Anita Lou Moffitt, Patricia Bemiss, Ronald Froehlich, Calvin Froehlich, Norman Froehlich.  

Memorial contributions are suggested to Heart to Heart Hospice or Kiwanis of Owosso.
