L. Jeanne Boursmith

Age 92 of Corunna passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Oliver Woods Retirement Village.

Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Paul Episcopal Church with Rev. Russell Merrill officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Tree Cemetery in Corunna. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes-Owosso Chapel on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm.

Jeanne was born May 3, 1926, the daughter of Earl and Gladys (Serr) Schooley.

She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church and the Corunna VFW Auxiliary 4005.

Jeanne married Jack E. Boursmith in Corunna on September 18, 1948; he predeceased her in 2016.

She worked with her husband as a secretary at Crest Printing for over 50 years.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter Karen (Mike) Jury; grandson Steven (Samantha) McPherson; great-grandson Brenden McPherson; step-grandchildren Michael (Amanda) Jury, Kim (Mitch) Lawens and Nick (Lindsey) Jury; brother Gary (Shirley) Schooley; sister Billie Sleeper; sister-in-laws Dorothy Darnell, Barb Schooley and Peggy Schooley; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband; infant son Ricky; parents; brothers Earl "Pink" Schooley, Robert "Red" Schooley and Ford Schooley; sister Betty Zwolensky and Jackie Thayer.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul Episcopal Church or the Corunna VFW.
