Obituary for Pamela D. Schuman

Pamela Dorothy Schuman (nee Gessert), 63, went to eternal rest on December 14, 2017.

A Memorial Service will be held 4pm Sunday December 17, 2017 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Schlaack officiating. The family will receive friends from 2pm until the service.

Pamela was born July 30, 1954 in Harbor Beach, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Gertrude Gessert. She graduated from Harbor Beach High School in 1972 and went on to earn her Registered Nursing Degree from St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron 3 years later.

Pamela enjoyed and loved animals (especially dogs), playing guitar and singing, raising indoor plants, and fishing.

She married Eric John Schuman on January 6, 1978 in Port Huron at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pam was employed as an R.N. for over 35 years at several different hospitals around the state. She was also a past member of the Delta Lioness Club having served as their Secretary.

Pamela is survived by her husband Eric and her sister Anne (Rev. Paul) McGhghy of Sullivan, IL. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents.
