Reuben U. Seward

Age 87 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Memorial Healthcare.

Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes, Owosso Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Herbruck officiating. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4pm to 8pm.

Reuben was born November 27, 1930 in Owosso, the son of Herbert and Bessie (Currier) Seward.

He graduated from Owosso High School, class of 1950 and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Reuben attended Assembly of God Church and married Constance M. Hamilton in Henderson, Nevada on December 1, 1951.

Reuben retired from Magnetek aka Universal Electric after 40 years of service as Manager of Order Processing.

Reuben is survived by his wife Connie of 66 years; children Gregory (Jenn) Seward, Kirk (Patsy) Seward and Robin Morrice; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother Edward Seward; brother-in-law Leon (Betty) Hamilton; several nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his stillborn daughter, parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a brother-in-law.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Assembly of God Church.
