"Tony" Wayne Anthony Kintgen

Age 62 of Corunna formerly of Durand passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Memorial Healthcare.

A Memorial service will be held 11am Monday, June 26, 2017 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Marlene Webster officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5pm to 8pm.

Tony was born August 7, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Wayne and Carol (LaCosse) Kintgen.

He graduated from Durand High School, class of 1972. Wayne enjoyed writing poetry and had a passion for gardening and loved his Street Rod. He looked forward to trips to the U.P. and time spent with his family; especially his four girls.

Tony was a member of the Eagles of Durand and Moose Lodge in Durand.

He married Donna Johnson in Corunna on May 11, 2017.

Tony retired from General Motors- Buick City after more than 25 years of service.

Tony is survived by his wife Donna; children Amy (Brad) Yerian, Jennifer Kintgen, Autumn (Tom) Key and Whitney Perez (Paul Jaques); mother Carol (Ray) Contratto; grandchildren Brianna Hodack, Ashleigh and Brennan Yerian, Avery and Liam Key and RaeLynn and Elianna Perez; great-grandson Evan Hodack; brothers Robert (Karen) Kintgen and Joseph Kintgen; sister Lisa Spikberg; several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Wayne and sister Brenda Halifax.
