Obituary for Tyghten Ryan Hnevsa

Age 17 of Chesaning passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 after a tragic accident.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel with Rev. John Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Road Cemetery in Oakley. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 1 from 2:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Tyghten was born on July 25, 2000 to Sandra Lee Hnevsa and Larry Joe Jones in St. Johns. He was a junior at Chesaning Union High School.

Tyghten was a great son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was known for always having a smile on his face. He had a strong mind, and he was always willing to help his family and friends. During his life, Tyghten enjoyed fishing, playing football, and spending time with his family, especially his nephews.

Tyghten is survived by his mother, Sandra Hnevsa; his brother, Luke Hnevsa (Jazmine Duranso) ; his nephews, Liam and Maddix; his grandparents, Joanne Hnevsa, and Tom and Sharon Robinson; his step-grandma, Ruth; his great-grandpa, Niko; as well as many other loving family and friends.

He is predeceased by his father; his grandfather, Joseph Hnevsa; and his great-grandma, Niko.
