Edmund Stickel Jr.

Age 94 of Oakley passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at West Haven Cemetery.

Edmund was born on January 5, 1925 to Edmund and Kathleen (Jones) Stickel. He married Wilma Cornwall on July 5, 1944; she predeceased him in 2014. Edmund worked for Universal Electric for many years.

Edmund farmed his 40-acre family farm on Ridge Road all his life. He was a member of the Eagles 851. He enjoyed playing pool, golfing, and bowling. He also loved working on cars and John Deere tractors.

Edmund is survived by his daughter-in-law, June Maybaugh Stickel; his grandchildren, Michael Stickel, Elyse Miller, Brad Maybaugh, and Makalia Moffit (Kyle); his 7 great-grandchildren; his sister, Donna (Ross) Fulton; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his wife, Wilma Stickel; his son, David E. Stickel; his parents; and his siblings, Lucille, Loretta, Betty, and Dale.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
