Thomas Albert Watson

Age 87 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday, January 5, 2019 at First Congregational Church with Pastor Deb Grazier officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes, Owosso Chapel on Friday from 3pm to 8pm.

Thomas was born June 4, 1931 in Detroit; the son of Thomas and Mary (Halstead) Watson.

He attended Owosso High School and proudly served in the United States Army. Thomas was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Masonic Lodge. He loved to play cards, golf and camp with his family.

Thomas married Linda Schwark in Owosso on March 24, 1956.

He retired from General Motors after 22 years of service as an Electrician.

Thomas is survived by his wife Linda; children Mary Korrey of Lansing and Tommy (Tracy) Watson of Walker; grandchildren Danny (Hannah) Korrey and Jason Korrey; and many other loving family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; brother Robert and Carrie Watson; sister Shirley Spencer; half-sister Nancy Nicosia and step-brother Richard Green.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Residential Hospice or Shiawassee County Humane Society.
